Demo content for Toystore not working - by gcamacho@mywestamerica.com

Hi, I installed the theme, woocommerce & all the plugins…then I installed a theme variant called kidsstore landing (https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/kidsstore-landing/) BY MISTAKE. When I realized that was the wrong theme variant, I went back and installed the correct one called “kidstore” (https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/kidsstore/?et_styles=1-8-0-5-2-4). But it caused problems.

I think it’s because I installed the demo content twice? Before I switched the theme variant to kidsstore. So, I think I installed two theme variants and then went back and installed the demo content again. How do I fix this?

This is the theme demo content that I want:

I just upgraded to Woocommerce 2.4.12.

Hello, thank you for your response.

Yesterday, I was able to manually upload some of the missing images for
the kids store theme variant and upload the .xml content one-by-one…but
there must be an easier way no? Also, I’m having trouble finding where
that background image is supposed to be edited too. (It should be behind the
slider).

I believe I’ve already figured out how to manually add the home page banners from the demo as well as the background image…but what are the settings for the background image? I need to know the background-repeat, background-attachment (I think it’s fixed?), and background-position. Thanks.

I’ve set background-size as “cover” and background-repeat as “no-repeat”.

Thank you, I’ve set the background image as “cover” and background-repeat as “no-repeat” for the Store and the Blog page. But it is not showing up in the background of theses pages as it should?

Thanks! Something is not correct with the store and blog background pages. I see the background image and the settings are the same as the other pages: cover, no repeat, fixed, left top. But the background image is repeating horizontally when it is not supposed to do that.

Hello,

Please check the settings in Theme Options > Color Scheme > Site Background, as I see you set the option “Repeat Horizontally”.
Edit the settings.

Therein lies the issue. No matter what setting I try, background-repeat, No Repeat, Repeat All, Repeat Horizontally, Repeat Vertically or Inherit, none of these do what the background does on the home page (which is expand according to the width of the browse window).

I’ve changed Site Background settings in Theme Options > Color Scheme.
Clear browser cache and check the site now.
