The header search form was perfectly working fine searching through the shop before the update. After the update, it’s stopped working or possibly searching through posts now instead of the shop.

thank you. It shows all types of posts now, but it still does not show results when typing. You need to press Enter for results page to show.
I have your search form implemented in my shop sidebar as well and this one works fine, but the one in the header just shows loading animation when I write in it and then waits for Enter without showing anything. You can compare both forms here:
