  Just went live with the site, but got an F (23%) on my Page Speed Score and a D (64%) for YSlow. Top 2 recommendations were :

  1. Defer parsing of JavaScript
  550.9KiB of JavaScript is parsed during initial page load. Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering.

  and

  2. Enable gzip compression
  Compressing the following resources with gzip could reduce their transfer size by 3.1MiB (80% reduction).

  A lot of these are plugins specially downloaded for the Theme. Any suggestions on improving performance ?

  Ignore point 2.

  I figured that out.. its an apache config chnage.. and not related to the theme.

  Any idea about point 1 ?

  Hello,

  From the list that you sent we see only 2 files are related to the theme and they are needed for the theme correct work. Others are the files of additional plugins.
