Dear XSTORE Support,
I am writing to you on behalf of our team, who is building a professional marketplace at marketplace.hyphenscs.com. We have purchased your theme and have successfully uploaded it to our website. We are using WooCommerce as our plugin on WordPress and have taken hosting service from Microsoft Azure.
Our team is not that technically strong, so we would like your team to assist us with creating a filter system on our website as soon as possible. We want to add custom made filters in our website on subcategories page which has multiple attributes and multiple values for each attribute.
For example, we have an attribute called “Material” with the following values:
Plastic
Wooden
Aluminum
We also have an attribute called “Capacity” with the following values:
0-50kg
50-100kg
100-200kg
We have around 10 categories in which there are total 120 subcategories. We want that every subcategory have their own set of different custom attributes having multiple values each. So far we have made about 30-40 subcategories in 2 major Categories. We are constantly adding new subcategories.
We would like to take assistance from your team via mail or Zoom call so that we can have a strong understanding of certain technical issues like the one I mentioned above. Although if you can make us understand things better by your own way then we will be more than happy to take assistance from there too.
I am providing you the necessary credentials so that you can help us better. I am also including some screenshots of the issues that we are facing and the custom filters/attributes that we want to add to specific subcategories.
Please note that different subcategories can have same looking attributes but they will differ in their values. For example, the “Type” attribute in the “Stackers” subcategory has the following values:
Electric
Manual
Semi-electric
The “Type” attribute in the “Hand Pallet Trucks” subcategory has the following values:
Hydraulic
Battery operated
The “Type” attribute of the “Stackers” subcategory may look similar to the “Type” attribute of the “Hand Pallet Trucks” subcategory, but the values will differ a lot. We want to make this for every subcategory.
We are running out of time and getting late due to the technical challenges that we are facing. We would really appreciate it if you could help us as soon as possible.
Additionally, we are not able to find the option to add tags to our products. We would like to be able to add tags to our products so that customers can easily find them by searching for specific keywords.
Finally, I would like to know if there is any way by which we can add attributes once for a subcategory and assign their values once so that we don’t have to add them everytime we add any product.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Arun Pandit
