Hello,
We didn’t rebuild any images.
As we told we only disabled “Hard Crop” option.
When you change images sizes you need to regenerate thumbnails http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ .
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Yes of course. That’s what I used…same plugin.
Again, you disabled “hard croppping”….then rebuilt using the plugin? Again, again…that’s what I did…but didn’t work.
I just want to get images to resemble the screenshot that was sent weeks ago.
I feel we’re going around in circles here. This issue support has been long drawn out over many weeks. Support isn’t always like this. Frustrating. Look how many pages this topic is???
Any word on this yet?
Hello,
I’ve set Catalog Images height to 150px and regenerated thumbnails.
Please check your products now.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I assume you did this in “Media Settings”? That is really not what I want. See attached screenshot of preferred.
Basically the image needs to be proportionally reduced to the size seen in my screenshot. Your version shows the image with cropping.
Also, can you check out why I have a product description “VXRA” showing up at the beginning of my “shop” page? That’s a new one.
Hello,
The size was changed in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display.
You need customize sizes yourself and check what fits for you the best.
Regenerate thumbnails after each change.
Are you talking about this text http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/0602/h_1464882833_6450369_cb6b0b5798.jpeg ?

I see. I had no idea a setting was in there. I’ll play with it.
The only thing that bothers me about changing sizes of images and rebuilding thumbnails, is something I read about doing so by the plugin developer. Saying something that the old images are kept? If I keep regenerating thumbnails trying to find the right size for my needs, won’t that be increasing the size of the entire site’s file unintentionally?
On my shop page, I’m talking about ALL the text (and images) before it gets to the grid view and list view part of the page. For some odd reason, the entire VXRA product is showing up as an “intro’ to my shop page. I didn’t put it there. See screenshot.
Hello,
The content above products is added by 3rd-party plugin “Enhanced Category Pages”. Disable it and check products page after that.
To remove duplicate images after regenerating thumbnails you need do this manually via FTP.

Eva Kemp.
But I’m not using Enhanced Cat Pages plugin on that particular page. I disable it, it will affect the one page I am using it on. Not much of a solution.
Now, images?
If I understand the FTP location of the files that have been regenerated by you, it would be under the “uploads” of “wp-content”, correct?
And did you regenerate ALL my thumbnails?
Hello,
I made only changes as I said in the previous post:

As for “Enhanced Cat Pages” plugin, we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins.

Eva:
That’s odd. I just checked through FTP where the thumbnail files would be that are stored (this is of course assuming their location because you never did answer my question on that) and I have modified dated files in there that are not in the catalog at all. In fact, they are thrown all over the place that were changed on the date that you regenerated thumbnails.
Regardless of what happened, I really didn’t want that. Even images that aren’t even catalog images got changed.
Now to delete any of the old ones not used anymore, they would would have to be found one by one (as they are scattered in that folder) and deleted one by one. That is going to take quite a bit of time…time that I don’t have.
I really wanted you to tell me HOW you got the image sized in that particular scale as stated previously…not actually do anything for me.
Your advice of “just keep regenerating thumbnails to taste” isn’t very good advice as I’d have a bunch of image files all over the place that would be doing nothing other than taking up drive space.
Better to do just a few files (on my own) until I’m satisfied, then regenerate all applicable thumbs.
Now…I’m in quite a predicament on how I need to proceed with handling this. Not very happy. Salt in the wound in the fact how long this has been going on as well…just inching along with those simple one or two line responses of yours. I’ve been most patient.
In the future, I’m going to request that you do not answer any of my tickets going forth. Please forward them to Jack or Robert.
Thank you
Hello,
Please take our apologies for any troubles that were caused by our actions.
Previously we didn’t change images sizes, only option “Hard Crop” was enabled. If you want to get small images you need upload your original images with appropriate dimensions and set sizes in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display.

Eva Kemp.
