    Hello, @bdavis,

You can use our shortcode [share] to insert social icons (facebook, twitter, mail, pinterest, google+). If your site is not multilingual and Place in header top bar widget area is empty you may use it to display this icons (in version 1.5 we have stylized this shortcode for using in that area).

    Regards,
    Olga Barlow

First I’d like to share that the theme is highly customizable and flexible. Your support quick and good, thank you for that:-) Still I miss a few features that could be organized differently and would improve the flexibility.

    – an option to upload a different logo for mobile
    – custom.css as a field in Theme options
    – a pre-installed footer, so no more hassles with static blocks

    Regards, Ellen

Please consider making the blog Category page templates look like this:

    http://www.iamokah.org/imokahtmp/media/

Its a much more organized alternative than how they currently display, which is like this:

Ok 2 pages are a bit a lot to read carefully so here are my suggestions and proposale for Royal:

    ==OPTION TREE==
    – COLOR SCHEME: If a user sets a Site Background, let it be visible even if the website has Wide Layout (this means you have to introduce a flag to let the website be without any solid background)
    – HEADER: Let users set a header background (custom image, patterns, colors, and other combinations of them)
    – HEADER: Please put Hidden Sidebar like in Legenda (it’s very handy)
    – SHOP: Make the “Just Catalog” option settable for non logged in users
    – SHOP: Let users choose “SALE”, “NEW” and “OUT OF STOCK” icons like in Legenda (it’s very useful)
    – SINGLE PRODUCT PAGE: Make the “Custom Tab” settable by products IDs, products catagories, and so on; in this way users can set different custom tabs.
    – BLOG: Regardless of chosen blog layout (Grid, Timeline, etc) let post excerpt be displayed instead of the whole post
    – CONTACT FORM: please include Google ReCAPTCHA

    ==GENERAL==
    – Let users change preload (make a new Option Tree menu with a set of preloads icons/animations)
    – Put at least another Top bar Sidebar: its content should be diplayed just after the first sidebar.

Alright guys, right now I don’t have any other suggestion for you. Feel free to contact me anytime to speak better about what I wrote

    Hello,

I installed a premium plugin from QueryLoop called “Visual Attributes for WooCommerce” that turns WooCommerce dropdown menus for attributes (size, color, etc) into visuals: either a color, image, or icon.

I have used this plugin on other sites without issue, but encountered an issue within the Royal theme: Javascript error in etheme.js. The developer of the plugin altered his code as a “patch” but suggested I reach out to you as a courtesy to correct the issue in the theme.

I have pasted that conversation in private content.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

Would love to be able to use the secondary Fixed Header Logo on static sub pages. Currently I have a white Main logo that works over the revolution slider on the home page but sub page headers are a white background so the logo disappears.

I already have a dark logo for the Fixed Header and would like to easily use it as the main header for subpages.

On the single product page the product description heading has a line that takes your eye to the arrows that navigate you to the next product. My client doesn’t like this and there are no options to change it. The arrows would be better placed at the bottom of the product description allowing the viewer to fully digest the info. my client’s expectation was that these arrow would reveal more about the product, which is a logical conclusion given the visual connection of a line leading from the heading “Product Description”

I would love to see (and urgently need) the possibility to ad tags to the projects for the portfolio and also to use a widget or static block or whatever to place a projects-tag-cloud into the single project page … sidebar as example.
basically it should work the same as with the products in the shop.

then i could use categories and tags to make my projects easier to sort for visitors.

that would be really fantastic 🙂

    PS: tomorrow please 😉

It would be very nice if the plugins you can download on https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ could be downloaded/update like the normal plugin update in WordPress.
Maybe as an option in the thememenu or something?
I’ve build 4 website with Royal Theme (planning for more) now but everytime I need to download p.e. Visual Composer from 8theme.com and upload it with FTP.

It’s great that you use font awesome for the social icons. Why not use it for the shopping cart icon in the header instead of a graphic?

    1. It would be better for retina displays
    2. It would be easier to modify. Ie… I know that it’s supposed to look like a shopping bag, but my client is convinced it’s a lock. So now instead of just using an over-ride in css, I’ll have to edit the image
