Hi Rose, I hope you are well.
AIM:
I want to add a multi atribute filter in the shop-tag-page.
METHOD
1. I have used a widget “Filter products by attribute” assigned the atribute.
2. Using the “Widget Shortcode” plugin I have pasted this widget´s shortcode in the Products > Tags > Tag > Description.
CONSIDERATIONS
This worked fine and stopped working suddenly. Products do have these atributes assigned correctly. I do create the products programatically since they have to be updated daily (price changes daily) and for some reason the WPML (translations plugin) blocks the product page of the main language (spanish) with the locks. These lock message says “It is recommended to use the WooCommerce Multilingual Product Translator to translate the products.” I want to check if disabling this might solve it becuase I am tranlating products programatically as well (automatically).
The above might not be related, and maybe I am missing something here. But I do need the products and their translations to be updated programatically.
I have commented my child´s theme files (not deactivated because I loose the theme settings).
I hope this all mekes sense. Otherwise I am happy to explain on a meeting too.
Best regards
Jacobo
Hello,
I used your widget and it works https://recordit.co/GdbyjX6QCR
So, could you, please, provide us with a video of the issue for a better understanding?
Regards
There is a second widget which is not showing up just below that one which has the same boxes styles. If you see the screenshot in the private area you will see what I am missing – i did it on photoshop. Video in private area as well
Hello,
Sorry, but it does not work even with the default Storefront theme https://prnt.sc/zyATCkETkb6k So, it means that our theme is not the reason of the issue and we can do nothing. Contact WooCommerce plugin support https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/
Regards
Hey Olga and xstore community.
After posting up my own support tiket in woocommerce forum and reading up woocommerce forums I tracked down the problem.
Woocommerce has bugs.
The issue is the data in the lookup table( this became more apparent when I forced some terms to show and tried to filter by them and no products would show even when they should the lookup table shows again on the store main query when filtering )
Solution:
I fixed it by unchecking the Enable table usage in Woo Settings->Products->Advanced
Try also to regenerate the count in Woo > Settings > Products
