Actually we’re on cPanel so that is good because we are scheduled for automatic backups and they were able to help us with the SSL issue today in about 30 minutes which wasn’t too bad at all.

Everything is backed up automatically which is great. We use cPanel bc the WordPress Managed Hosting by GoDaddy is only good for basic sites, NOT e-commerce!!! I agree with you there!!!

Thank you SO MUCH for your help. Right now we’re on Legenda 2.6, and WooCommerce 2.1.8 and it seems to be working well which is good. Can you take a look and see if you have the same positive experience? If the site works for you, I will keep it as-is for now.

Only remaining issues are for some reason, we’re stuck when you try to add this simple WooCommerce product to cart: http://giddyupgear.com/product/govelope-pro-baker/ BUT I am testing changing it to a variable product with just one variable and I believe that will work. IT WORKED!!!!

I’ve been doing most of my updates via FTP since that seems to be more thorough. Please let me know if you see the site working properly – thanks!

Last issue – can’t get wishlist to work. Not sure what to do about that…everything else seems ok (still need to get orders to show up).

The only clear cache plugin I use is WP Fastest Cache which has never caused an issue for me on any site I’ve used it on, as it’s very popular and very regularly updated. Is that one okay from what you know?

I didnt use this WP Cache but I used super cache and had a problem of White empty page, then I tryed Total cache and the issue was that if you go to shop page (without singin) then go and sing in and go to shop page again, it appers that you are not singed in becouse it caches the shop page when you was not singed in. Hope you dont have this issue.

Note that if you use chrome and you look to the link you must see HTTPS in green. So, if any image that you uploaded and dose not have https in the link then it will show you that its no safe in yellow. So, you must install the plugin that I told you about to fix that.

I tryed your site and its adding the product but thats not a solution. Variable product for only one product? I think I know what is hapening. Its your cache plugin, some cache disable ajax and some actions and that may couse this issue. Try disabeling the cache plugin and try again. I am almost sure that its the cache plugin. also remember that manneged wordpress from godaddy have a cache integrated and that may couse conflicts. Search in google how to uninstall wp cache properly uninstall it and try to see if that fixes the problem.

well, about the wishlist I have the solution! Disable it! No one use it, -I didnt find a way to fix it and the problem is with the plugin not the theme.

Custommers now can add to cart and the products in cart will be saved untill they checkout. so the wishlist for me is usless. Even if they use another PC, when they login they will have the products in cart waiting.

I don’t have GoDaddy managed wordpress! Just a regular cPanel hosting so that’s good. Let me try the cache thing.
    LOL I’ll disable wishlist.

    http://giddyupgear.com/product/govelope-pro-baker/

installed HTTPS plugin and people started having issues on Chrome where it wouldn’t recognize the plugin. the entire site doesn’t need to be HTTPS, just checkout, so I removed it and we seem to be running okay.

Still can’t figure out how to view prior orders though – the total order count is way more than what you can actually see. Any ideas?

Ugh we are having the issue again –

    Hi there,
I’m trying to order some of your tall boot socks however your website won’t let me create an account or go to checkout. It says the website is unsafe, even if I use Firefox or Internet explorer instead of chrome. Can you fix this?

Just got that from a customer. No idea why this isn’t working. Any ideas?
