    Hello XStore Support Team,

I hope you are doing well. I am facing some issues with the product filters on my WooCommerce shop and need your assistance in configuring them correctly. Below are the problems I am experiencing:

Colour Filter Not Showing as Swatches
The colour filter is currently displaying as plain text instead of colour swatches. I want it to work as in the XStore Demo Theme, with proper visual colour swatches.

    Size Filter Layout Issue
The size filter is currently displayed in a dropdown list, but I want it to be displayed horizontally, just like the Demo Theme layout.

    Categories Filter Showing Wrong Categories
The Categories filter is currently showing many categories that should not be there.

I only want to display Fashion & Accessories categories.

All Beauty and Confectionery categories should be completely removed from the filter.

Each customer should only see relevant products under each filter to improve the user experience.

Can you please guide me on how to fix these issues? Do I need to adjust settings in Theme Options, Widget settings, or install any additional plugins to achieve this functionality?

    Thank you for your support.
    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best regards,

    Dear @aadil,

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We need to check your settings.

If you check this section displaying Women Wedges Shoes: https://agileschemata.com/jagcounture/product-category/women/shoes/wedges/,
the top 3 images do not show the second image on hover, but the bottom 2 images do.

Please ensure that all images displayed behave consistently. On hover, the second image should be shown for every image.

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello @aadil,

The hover images are not displayed for certain products because those items are of the ‘product_variation’ type. This occurs because the option to separate variable products into simple ones has been enabled: https://prnt.sc/XH9h0n2F9mUW.

Since variable products are divided into individual variations, there are no secondary images available for these “variations” products. However, you can resolve this issue using one of the following methods:

    1. Disable the “Variations as simple products” option.
    2. Activate the following setting: https://prnt.sc/dZEprYy-yq-A, and then assign a custom gallery to each of your product variations: https://prnt.sc/nkOMJ2OtpiJG. (The relevant settings will appear once the mentioned option is enabled.)

    Hello @aadil,

    1. Could you please review the tutorial that explains the use cases and configuration of swatches: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/variation-swatches-3/? If you have any specific questions, you may post them on our support forum; however, we believe the tutorial will address most of your concerns.

    2. Regarding the Size Filter Layout Issue, please check the widget settings or provide us with some screenshots to help us better understand your request.

    3. We recommend enabling the “Advanced Mode” option under Theme Options → WooCommerce → Shop Elements → Categories. Also, If you have categories that are not related to your store and do not contain any products, you can remove them in your backend settings (Dashboard → Products → Categories). If you still have questions regarding this matter, please provide screenshots and clarify your request in more detail.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
