I hope you are doing well. I am facing an issue with the “Filter by Product Categories” widget in the XStore theme. Despite having only 5 products in total and all of them belonging to the “ONU” category, the widget is showing product counts in multiple categories incorrectly. Its filtering correctly but the number shown is not accurate.

I have attached screenshots for your reference. Please let me know how this issue can be resolved.

I’ve added more products, so I’d like to clarify the issue again. For example, when selecting ‘OLT,’ it displays all the products which is correct, but the product count is incorrect. Please see the attached image for reference.

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, Shahid,

The displayed quantity reflects only the products within the specified category that meet the criteria for purchase (e.g., products with an “in-stock” status, a set price, etc.). Currently, only one product from this category satisfies these conditions.

If you would like to modify these criteria, we kindly ask you to provide us with FTP access so that we can make the necessary adjustments for you.

I hope you’re correct, but this doesn’t seem to make sense. Let’s focus on the ‘OLT’ category. There are 10 products in total—6 without prices, 2 on sale, and 2 with a regular price. So, why does the filter count show ‘OLT [1]’? It should either show none, 2, 6, or the total of 10. I hope this explanation makes sense.

Additionally, there’s another issue in the same area. Please refer to the attached image: the left side shows the Elementor editor, and the right side shows the live site. In Elementor, all categories with products are visible, but on the live site, not all categories are displayed. Moreover, the Elementor version includes a “+2” clickable button, which is missing on the live site.

On the frontend, only categories that contain at least one product available for purchase are displayed.

For instance, the category “l2-managed-poe-switches” does not currently include any such products, which is why it is not visible on the frontend.

Regarding the OLT category, we kindly request FTP access so that we can investigate this matter in greater detail.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
