Minor issue, when the page first loads up, there is a slight lag with an image that comes up from a different section of our homepage. Here is what happens:

Also, how can I get rid of the view count for the posts on the blog page?

2. Theme Options > Blog & Portfolio > Blog Layout > Enable views counter > Off.
