1) To change font size please add this code into custom.css file.
.languages-area .textwidget{ font-size:18px; }
2)To set background for breadcrumbs please navigate to Theme Options->Header->and select Breadcrumbs background. Here is a video tutorial how to create custom.css: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qok2zRedRMY&feature=youtu.be.
