Core plugin was not fully installed from the first time, I am not sure why but re-uploading files via FTP helped. Also, I’ve disabled all 3rd party plugins on your site before importing the demo content, to prevent conflicts. Then I did not face any problem with the data import, like in this video – https://youtu.be/4n1re0jKorc
