Hello,

Thanks for the topic.
Please follow our documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade
https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ (https://www.8theme.com/faq/ – How to update plugins included in theme?).
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process! Your theme options could be exported in a file (Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > Export Options) to be able to restore the site to the previous state if something goes wrong.

You need to enter your purchase code to activate the theme and skip Setup Wizard.
Please, re-save your Royal options after upgrading the theme. Navigate to admin panel > Theme Options and hit Save changes.

Note that from the 4.0 update, all the custom styles come not like inline CSS but as styles from separate file – dynamic.css (to speed up the site loading). If you created child theme before 4.0 update you need to create the dynamic.css file in royal-child theme folder and set permissions 777 for the file + add wp_enqueue_style( 'dynamic-css', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/dynamic.css' ); in royal-child/functions.php file. Then go to Theme Options and re-save them.

If after theme and plugins updating you’ll see the notice that some files of your child theme are out of date, you just need to compare 2 files and add the missing code to your child theme file.

WooCommerce developers added some new options in version 3.3 related to products number per row and per page https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/2017/12/09/wc-3-3-will-look-great-on-all-the-themes/ WooCommerce set the higher priority for the new option and it overwrites our settings.
You can change number of products per row using Customizer ( > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Products per row).

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Regards
