    Hi,

Since the theme update I happen to have issues with visual composer. In the backend I have no usable UI in which I can adjust the page.

I tried reinstalling the plugins, which included an update to the latest version (including the ultimate add-on for VC), and the PHP memory limit has been checked. According to my hosting provider this is globally set to 128M. Is there anything else I am missing at this point?

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for the quick reply! I also tried that, with no success.

However, just moments ago I discovered that disabling essential grid(2.0.9) solves the problem..(At least it shows the VC UI again).

It still complains about the memory limit though; and this makes hardly any sense. Here is the error line: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 83 bytes) in /home/stage02/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/includes/base.class.php on line 111

Would we need more than 128M? If so, then why didn’t we run into that error before the template update?

    Again my thanks!

    Hello @Stage01,

Some 3rd-party plugins are causing the issue. I disabled all 3rd-party plugins and kept only the required ones that are included in the theme and VC editor worked fine, even with Ess. Grid plugin enabled.
Deactivate all 3rd-party plugins and check it yourself.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
