Site is still running extremely slow - by emeliech

Hi again,

I really love your theme and I think it looks stunning for our site. But we are experiencing a very slow site, specially on the shop page, single product page, and the wp-admin…

I get a grade F on all speed tests and a score like 40/100…

I wonder how we can solve the following issues:

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Your page has 9 blocking script resources and 17 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.
None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML.

Leverage browser caching
Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network.

I have been in contact with you regarding this earlier but you then ignored my and referred me to the wordpress codex site which is not helpful..

Also you seem to have duplicate css files.. If I inspect an element, any element really the css for that appears 2-3 times.. Is that because it is a multipurpose theme?

I hope we can finally get some answers to this sloow site! And I hope it can be improved because the styling and concept is really nice and beautiful.

Hello,

As you can see from this link http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150706_34_X8A/1/details/ slow loading is caused by your images.
You need optimize them.
