Missing icons issues (2) - by nikos - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi,
    I posted about the missing icons issue before (https://www.8theme.com/topic/missing-icons-issues/)
    but after activating another theme and reactivating Legenda icons appeared in a normal way.

    After updating to the latest Legenda version 2.6.2 the problem occurred again.
    The icons are missing from various places e.g. arrows on revolution slider, icon on wishlist,cart, account etc.

    Any help welcome,

    Hello,

    You have disabled allow_url_fopen. Ask your hosting to enable it.
    Also you need to increase the values of upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

    I did the changes you proposed.

    I don’t see any changes on my icons issue, let me know if there is something more I can do.

    Hello @nikos,

    Sorry for a long delay.
    Also you need to increase the values memory_limit. Recommended memory_limit is no less than 64M.
    If issue will be persist then contact to us again.

    but the problem persists.

    For not clear reasons, some theme files, images, fonts were corrupted.
    We’ve updated the theme and everything works fine. Please check.

    perfect, problem solved.
    should I remove the allow_url_fopen=on parameter?
    Are there any security implications?

    Hello,

    If you’re going to import any pages or products we recommend you to keep that function enabled. If not, then you can disable it.

    Hi to all,
    I just updated to legenda latest version and the missing icons problem occurred again. There was no icons issue since you fixed it last time. Could you please check if there corrupted files/images again? If yes could you please provide me with a solution as you did last time?
    Could you please indicate to me which folders you are updating so I can do it by my self next time?

    Please add this code in .htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
       Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
    </IfModule>

    I’ve reuploaded “fonts” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/css.
    Please clear your browser cache and check the site.
